How the Riverside Summer Fun List Works

There’s a “bingo” card with 16 ideas for things to do with your kids this summer, like sampling summer fruit and veggies at the farmer’s market, signing up for Summer Reading at the library, or taking a nature walk.

You can choose to do any or all of the activities, or use it like Bingo and try to do 4 activities in a row! Your child can color in the board all at once and then mark off each box with an X as you do it, or you can just color in each activity as you go alone.

Then - and here’s the part I’m really excited about - there are two pages full of ideas for HOW to do that activity. So when it says to go on a nature walk on the Bingo page… look on the Ideas page and you’ll see suggestions for specific places to go in Riverside for a nature walk, divided by options for cooler days and hot summer days!

Or when it tells you to sign up for Summer Reading at the library, you’ll see a list of the library options in Riverside!

    For Even More Ideas…

This summer on Instagram @RiversideFunKids, I hope to share posts with even more details, photos, and info for helping you complete these activities, too!

I’ve tried to choose ideas that are:

    • free or inexpensive

    • can be done by all ages

    • work even if it’s really hot out

Of course, you can add your own ideas on the back of the page, too!

    Free Prizes!

If your family loves an extra incentive, I’m offering a simple way to receive free Riverside Fun Kids stickers if you complete at least four of the activities! Check out the download for more info on that.

    Yes, you can share!

Please feel free to send the list along to friends, or print out extra copies to share with neighbors, students, etc. It's free and meant to be used!
